British Council for Prevention of Blindness
There are 45 million blind people worldwide. Yet in eight out of ten cases this could be prevented. BCPB funds scientific research in both the UK and overseas into blindness prevention and sight restoration, and the training of eye care professionals from developing countries. The aim is to advance knowledge, develop new treatments and improve delivery of eye care as well as to remedy the desperate shortage of eye care professionals where they are most needed, in lesser developed countries.

Uveitis Information Group is a patient led charity, based in the UK, run by volunteers who have uveitis. We provide clear information about uveitis and its treatment for use by patients, families, researchers, ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals.
