Focus on: Julia - Purchase Ledger and Finance Systems Manager

I have worked for Guide Dogs for over 30 Julia, Purchase Ledger and Finance Systems Manageryears. I started work in the Fundraising Department where I had to type 'thank you' letters on a typewriter with Tipp-Ex strips to correct mistakes. Those days have long gone!

After Fundraising I moved into Finance where I have been ever since doing a variety of different roles. My current job is a constant challenge, looking for better and faster ways of working and making sure that we meet tight deadlines on a weekly basis. No two days are the same, so it makes life more interesting not knowing what challenges you will face in the morning.

I have seen many changes, worked with lots of different people and faced several challenges in the years I have worked here, and I survived to tell the tale. I am proud to say that I work for Guide Dogs.
