Guide Dogs also Guide Dogs Say No To Shared Streets 300X199campaign and influence UK public policy. As well as breeding, training and providing guide dogs, we also:

  • Campaign for people who are blind and partially sighted to enjoy better access to goods, services, the built environment (town centres) and public transport. We raise awareness of the law, the dangers of obstacles in the street and shared surfaces, and how service providers can make their services more accessible.
  • Campaign for improved rehabilitation services; the support people who lose their sight receive to learn new skills and regain the confidence to live the life they want to live. We bring attention to the shortcomings in services and put pressure on the government to improve them.
