Hull Mobility Team

“My Guide has given me a life"- Kevin, My Guide service User

Based in Beverley, our dedicated team of supporters and staff work to deliver a range of mobility services, whether it’s training guide dog partnerships, empowering people through My Guide, or supporting young people and their families.

The team supports over around 170 guide dog owners, 8 buddy dogs and 24 My Guide partnerships in the following areas:

  • City of York
  • Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire
  • Selby District
  • North and North East Lincolnshire
  • Lincolnshire

The team could not survive without its dedicated group of volunteers who board our training dogs, fundraise and campaign.

We can provide talks to schools, community groups and businesses throughout the area and have an enthusiastic team of volunteer speakers who are always keen to share what we do.

Our team of staff are here to help, so if you would like to know more about what we do, support us in any way (e.g. volunteer or donate), think you have a need for one of our services, or if you run a group or organisation and would like one of our speakers to visit, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.

"Now if ever I feel scared or apprehensive I put a hand out to my dog and am rewarded by a waggy tail, unconditional love and support. Anything is now possible." - Catherine, Guide Dog Owner Lincoln
