Volunteering

Puppy training dog at a fundraising event in LondonAt Guide Dogs, we now have around 14,000 volunteers across the UK. In the London Mobility Team we have about 600 volunteers who make such a difference to local blind and partially sighted people in London.

We would love to get more Londoners volunteering for Guide Dogs and we welcome anyone to apply from age 14 years upwards. There are so many ways to get involved and you’ll be amazed at what you get back in return.

As a Guide Dogs volunteer for the London team, you will get to meet new people (and perhaps some of our furry four legged friends!), get an insight into what we do and how we help blind and partially sighted people in London, and learn new skills or develop existing ones. You'll also get to experience varied and exciting roles with support from the London team and ultimately make a life-changing difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people in your local community.

Current vacancies

•    Fundraising Volunteers: we have a range of different roles with our local fundraising groups such as Event Co-ordinator, Treasurer and Collection Box Coordinator. We are particularly looking for people for these roles in Bexley, Croydon, Bromley and Enfield.
