Brighton MP Takes Sensory Challenge

Pavement Parking Blind Walk

On Friday 16 January Brighton MP Simon Kirby took part in a blindfold walk so we could highlight the dangers of parking on pavements and street clutter. He found the experience terrifying and was able to get a good understanding of how dangerous this really is.

Whilst making his way into the road to go around a parked van, cars were driving up and down the road. He also had to manoeuvre large bins which took most of the pavement again forcing him into the road. He gave us great feedback and found the experience to be a great one and one he was pleased to have taken part in.
