Book a tour

To book a tour please emailTour of Guide Dogs National Breeding Centre NBCvisitors@guidedogs.org.uk or phone 0845 3727 432.

Our tours will give you the chance to see our puppies as they socialise and grow, gaining experience of everyday sights and Inside the National Breeding Centresounds which will help them develop the skills they need as guide dogs.

You can expect to see the National Breeding Centre going through its daily activities and find out how we use the latest technology and innovations in our breeding Tour of the National Breeding Centreprogramme. We'll also show you the journey a dog takes from six week old puppy to becoming a trained and qualified guide for a blind or partially sighted person and more about all the ways we help people with sight loss to become more independently mobile.

Our guides will take you through the specially built walkways which enable you to view our work without disturbing either the dogs or staff. Towards the end of the tour you'll have the opportunity to purchase items from our shop, when tea & coffee will also be served.

Importantly, you'll have the opportunity to meet some of our dogs, who will accompany Centre Guides on the tour.
