Forward magazine
Forward is Guide Dogs’ quarterly magazine for supporters, clients and the general public. First published in 1943, each edition is packed with news, events and stories about the amazing people and dogs involved with us, from owners and volunteers to trainers and fundraisers.

Summer Forward 2013
The summer edition of Forward is full to bursting with Guide Dogs news and features. This year we celebrate an amazing 70 years of the magazine and we take a look at how it’s changed over the decades.
We have special features on Major, “the flying guide dog”, and on our My Guide service which is helping us reach out to many more people who are blind or partially sighted.
You can also find out how to get involved in this year’s Guide Dogs Week in October, and how to nominate people – and dogs – for the Guide Dogs Annual Awards in December.
