Forward magazine
Forward is Guide Dogs’ quarterly magazine. First published in 1943, it plays a major role in providing news on Guide Dogs' activities to our supporters, members, clients and the public.
Each edition is packed full of news, events, and stories on some of the amazing people involved with the Association, from owners to trainers to fundraisers.

In the Autumn 2010 issue:
Autumn's issue of Forward magazine contains information about our preparations for Guide Dog Week, including how to enter into our photography challenge; more about our strategy, 'Building Extraordinary Partnerships' and what it means to us; and how we're working with other organisations to make life better for guide dog owners.
There's also a feature on guide dog Patsy, who has made the transition from brood bitch to working guide dog, and updates on the many creative ways our supporters have been raising money from us in the last few months.
Let us know what you think of Forward and submit your ideas for stories to forward@guidedogs.org.uk or call 0118 983 8317.

Don't miss out! Forward is available in the following formats: Print, large print, braille, audio compact disc, downloadable as a Word document, a pdf or as a page turn pdf, where you can actually turn the pages yourself!
In addition, you can request a Word copy via email, or use the form to request a free subscription.
In 2006, we also produced a souvenir publication to commemorate 75 years of guide dogs in the UK. This publication is filled with memories from the early beginnings through to present day, including the life of Guide Dogs pioneer Captain Nikolai Liakhoff, as told by his grandaughter - Olga Bibikoff. Download the souvenir publication as text.
