Dog care and welfare advisors

All guide dog owners are assigned a Dog Care and Welfare Advisor by Guide Dogs. The Advisor is the person that guide dog owners need to contact if they have any queries about the health and care of their dog and they can offer advice and support on a whole range of veterinary care policies and procedures.

The Dog Care and Welfare Advisor also offers advice to the many veterinary surgeons throughout the UK who care for puppies, guide dogs, breeding stock and retired dogs in their practices.
