A guide that gives up to date information about mobility and access products which use new technologies.

Please note that most suppliers stress that a technical product is not a substitute for the normal mobility aid such as a guide dog or long cane. Mention of a product in the following lists does not indicate that Guide Dogs recommend any of the products.  If and when we have fully tested and evaluated a product we may publish our findings.

The website is divided into three sections: technology products - lists of details of the products, pricing and contact details; product reviews - where blind and partially sighted people can review and rate their experiences; and technology research papers - the papers are of potential technologies applicable to be developed into future mobility and access products.

Anyone can review these products, all you need to do is register with your email address.  We invite and encourage anyone to give their opinion on these listed technologies.  Find the product you have used and then add your review below.
