Technologies
The technology products fall into four categories:
- Wayfinding and Orientation - Satellite navigation and mapping devices that talk or other audible methods used to convey location and directions to visually-impaired users
- Obstacle Detection - Devices that can locate objects in the way of the person and feedback to the person how near they are so that they may avoid them
- Remote Activated Signs - Talking signs that give audio signals usually via a speaker or headset to notify the person that they are near a place of interest, bus stop, museum exhibit etc.
- Miscellaneous - Other technologies which span two or more of the above categories
