Barney reaches John O’Groats

Barney reaches John O’GroatsHero hound Barney has reached the end of his long walk – the flat-coat retriever, and owners Jos and Bob, arrived in John O’Groats on Tuesday 4 August 2015 after over 4 months of walking and camping.

Not content with just a fantastic physical challenge, the trio have raised a huge amount of awareness and money for Guide Dogs along the way – donations to their JustGiving page have exceeded £5,600, and they have inspired over 1,000 individuals across Britain to do their own sponsored dog walks for Guide Dogs and fundraise too.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported Barney, Bob and Jos on their incredible journey, and especially those of you who have followed Barney’s lead and started fundraising for us – your support really is invaluable, and we couldn’t provide our
life-changing services without you.

Barney’s done his bit, but there are still ways you can show your support!
