Walking the Dog Day is back!

A collie and a large black and tan dog wearing blue Dogs Unite capes walk with their owners towards the camera, looking off to the right.

Resolve to give someone a new life in 2018
It's the new year! For many, this means New Year's resolutions and starting over fresh. Some of the most popular New Year’s resolutions are all about being better, getting fitter and doing more of what we enjoy - but what if our resolutions can also give someone a new life?

A life-changing resolution
We have a resolution, too – and it has everything to do with “doing better”. In the UK today, almost two million people are living with sight loss and of those, around 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone. Many suffer from depression and struggle with feelings of isolation – and every single hour, another person in the UK goes blind.

Help make our resolution a reality
You can help us do better. You and your dog have the power to give someone a new life, to create a world where blind people no longer feel invisible. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling your needs and dreams.

Let's do this!
If you make one resolution this year, make it a life-changing one: do a sponsored dog walk for Guide Dogs on Walking the Dog Day, February 22, and raise just £35 to support one of our life-changing guide dog partnerships for a whole week.
