In 2008 it cost about £44 million to run the core guide dog services and this is funded entirely by voluntary and legacy income. Every day we empower blind and partially sighted people to live a full life by providing guide dogs and other mobility services. We also help to break down barriers to enable visually impaired people to get around on their own.
