An Update on Osborn

I've been in close contact with the Guide Dog Centre at Toll Gate where Osborn has been receiving specialist medical treatment for his auto-immune condition. The good news is that he was able to come off all his medication very slowly and went to stay with a temporary guide dog boarder who lived very near the Centre over Christmas, to keep an eye on him and to remind him about house training and being in a home. Knowing how cheeky Osborn can be, he was probably also making sure that he was centre stage and demanding cuddles and tickles. He is still very small for his age and he is being watched very carefully for any relapse. At the time of writing, he was going to be having a final check over by the Guide Dog Vet and it is likely that he would be staying with the Boarder until his course of vaccinations haa been completed. It is then that the decision will be made as to whether he will be rehomed as a pet, or continue on the puppy walking scheme. As soon as I find out more, I will post the news onto the Puppy Diary.
