Ways To Remember

By making a donation to Guide Dogs in memory of a loved one, you’ll provide a genuinely lasting tribute to their life as well as bring independence to someone else’s life.

Whether you’re remembering a loved one or an animal companion, it’s a straightforward process, and we’re here to help with any questions you might have. People want to remember their loved ones and mark their lives in different ways that are personal to them, and so there are many ways to give in memory to Guide Dogs.

You may wish to set up a Tribute Fund to collect donations to raise enough to Name a Puppy your loved one’s name.

If you’d prefer a permanent memorial in their name, you may want to dedicate a brick in one of our commemorative pathways or add their name to our online Books of Remembrance.

You can also sponsor one of our puppies or take part in our Guiding Stars appeal at Christmas, by hanging a dedicated star in memory of your loved one on one of our special Christmas trees.

If you’re planning a funeral for your loved, we can help support you in that with our collection envelopes.

At Guide Dogs we understand just how much a faithful companion can mean to someone. We’re always very glad when people choose to remember a beloved pet by making a donation to Guide Dogs and we have a dedicated page with different ways you can do this.

If you have any questions, you can call us on 0800 953 0113 or email the Gifts in Memory team. If you’d prefer us to call you back at a time that suits you, just email us your contact details and ‘We can call you’ back.
