A book of anecdotes, The Guide Dogs book of Amazing Dog Tails features true stories of canine courage, companionship and comedy. The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association has an unparalleled reputation for breeding, rearing and training dogs. Puppy Training The Guide Dogs Way is the very first time a dog-training book has been launched with official recognition from The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.  It is a 128-page hard-backed book that boasts more than 150 super colour photographs.

All royalties from the sale of both books go directly to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association. 10% of the publisher’s net receipts will be donated to the charity also.

Author of Puppy Training The Guide Dogs Way, Julia Barnes is a former journalist who has written many books, including several on dog behaviour and training. In addition, she is an experienced dog handler, and has been responsible for puppy walking a number of assistance dogs. Within the pages of Puppy Training The Guide Dogs Way Julia has expertly covered subject like, ‘The importance of socialisation’, Understanding the dogs mind’, Positive learning experiences’ and Overcoming problem behaviour’.
