Iggy Pup stands out on Radio 2

09 Oct 2014

One of the UK’s most talked about guide dog puppies, Iggy, took to the airwaves during Guide Dogs Week joining Chris Evans on his BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show.

The yellow Labrador retriever cross is best known for her role on Blue Peter, where presenter Lindsey Russell has been following her progress through training.

Chris, and his breakfast team, were absolutely smitten with little Iggy, who is just over five months old. During his interview with Lindsey, Chris was keen to find out more about Iggy’s training and what the next few months have in store for her.

A seasoned professional at all things media, Iggy slept through most of the interview, but was more than happy to give out plenty of cuddles to both Chris and his co-host Lynn Bowles afterwards.

You can follow Iggy’s progress by tuning in to Blue Peter every Thursday at 5:30pm on CBBC or catching up on iPlayer.
