Discover puppy love this Valentines Day with Go Walkies

For the first year ever Go Walkies is going romantic!

This February, Guide Dogs is calling supporters to invite friends, neighbours and family to celebrate love by hosting a Valentines themed sponsored walk. Go Walkies is the walk where it’s your dog who gets sponsored to take part!.

Go Walkies Project Co-Ordinator Leigh Bourne said: “We’ve all heard romantic stories of people bumping into their perfect partner in the park. Could your dog lead you to true love?”

Susan McCafferty’s dog found love with a fellow guide dog at her Go Walkies event. She said: “Me and my guide dog Garner met Janette and her dog Vogue last year at my Go Walkies in Aberdeenshire. I can honestly say it was love at first sight for Garner and Vogue. I know they will be for ever friends like me and Janette.”
