Do you labra-doodle?
Art clubs, schools and individuals across the country are picking up their pens to Get Doodling for Guide Dogs, during March.
It’s all part of Get Together; Guide Dogs’ easy, fun fundraising initiative that brings people together to have fun - and make a difference to the charity. Every month, one big idea becomes the fundraising challenge - and this month, it’s all about drawing, painting, and sculpting.
Beth Marsh, Head of Fundraising Development for Guide Dogs explains: “So many people enjoy getting creative - so we thought we’d dedicate March to artistic passion, all in the name of Guide Dogs’ fundraising.”
The charity has come up with plenty of Get Doodling suggestions, including community art exhibitions, kids drawing mornings, still-life classes, and getting a local artist to donate a painting for auction in aid of Guide Dogs
“Let your imagination run wild,” says Beth. “It doesn’t matter if you’re a fine art specialist or a finger painter - it’s all about getting together to have fun and raise money!”
