Going once, going twice… Guide Dogs launches eBay Shop!

On 1 January, 2012, Guide Dogs will start using eBay to raise funds. Every penny we raise will enable more blind and partially sighted people to get out and about independently.
We are asking staff, supporters and businesses to send us any unwanted toys, baby clothes, books, DVDs, video games, electronic goods, branded handbags, shoes, accessories, collectors’ items and signed memorabilia to auction.
Once our eBay shop is up and running, we will be asking you to send your items for auction to your local Mobility Centre. However as January is a test run, please send anything you would like to donate to: Guide Dogs eBay Channel, Hillfields, Burghfield Common, Reading, RG7 3YG or contact Tammy Richardson on 0118 983 2352 or eBay-shop@guidedogs.org.uk if you have any questions.
Let’s make 2012 a year of bidding and selling to raise money for Guide Dogs! So whether Great Auntie Agnes gives you yet another stripy jumper for Christmas this year, or you have grown tired of listening to Tina Turner’s greatest hits, send them our way! Alternatively, if you are an avid knitter and can spare some of your creations – please get in touch.
