Guide Dog of the Year Awards 2010 winners announced

It was a tough task: selecting the category winners and runners-up in this year’s Guide Dog of the Year Awards, from so many strong nominations. But the judging panel has voted, and…drum roll please…

• The winner of the Outstanding Work category is Gus; the runner-up is Simba.

• The winner of the Life Changing category is Moss; the runner-up is Trudy.

• The winner of the Beyond the Call of Duty category is Gino; the runner-up is Ella.

Gus, Moss and Gino now go on to the next stage, where Guide Dogs’ Chief Executive Richard Leaman and readers of Woman’s Weekly magazine will select the dog to be crowned Guide Dog of the Year 2010.
