Guide Dogs’ volunteer appeal for marathon fundraising event
Residents in Sussex are being encouraged to volunteer for Guide Dogs, supporting the charity’s running team at the Brighton Marathon on Sunday,18 April 2010 – Guide Dogs is partner charity for the event.
The charity needs to recruit 80 volunteers to support its runners on race day. Roles will include route marshal, water station volunteer, and providing finish line support, such as greeting Guide Dogs’ runners as they cross the line.
Volunteers will be invited to the charity’s post-race reception, with the opportunity to meet guide dogs and owners, as well as the running team.

Brighton Marathon is a new event, with 10,000 runners supporting good causes, including Guide Dogs.
