Remember your pet with Guide Dogs

ITV's "This Morning" recently ran a feature on pet bereavement, part of a growing trend of such stories. Our In Memoriam fundraising department are seeing more and more people wanting to speak about pets (and in our case guide dogs as well) that they have lost. The bond that exists between a guide dog owner and their dog is very strong, and the ending of a partnership is often extremely emotional, so we understand the huge sadness that people experience when losing a beloved pet.

We have launched a new website to allow people to remember a special pet whilst supporting our cause. This includes an online memorial book called ‘Paws for Thought’ where we can list the names of much loved pets alongside our own cherished guide dogs in return for a donation in the animal's memory.
