Travis Trek 5 - The Legends Trek

Former Rangers stars Terry Hurlock, Arthur Numan, Mark Hately, Andy Goram, Alex Rae and members of 45, Royal Marine Commandos will join Scott and Travis on Saturday 4 April when they begin their trek of over 100 miles on the West Highland Way North to South. To make the Legends Trek even more special they will end their ambitious journey with a heroes welcome at the home of Rangers FC, Ibrox on Saturday 11 April.

The adventurous duo have raised more than £60,000 for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association in their previous treks, and have been able to support the care and training of nine guide dog puppies.

The team are inviting people to join them for parts of the challenge;
Day 1) Trekking from Fort William to Kinlochleven, 14 miles.
Day 2) Trekking from Kinlochleven to Kings House, 9 miles.
Day 3) Trekking from Kings House to Bridge of Orkey, 12 miles.
Day 4) Trekking from Bridge of Orkey to Crianlarich, 13 miles.
Day 5) Trekking from Crianlarich to Inversnaid, 13 miles.
Day 6) Trekking from Inversnaid to Balmaha, 14 miles.
Day 7) Trekking from Balmaha to Carbeth, 15miles
Day 8) Trekking from Carbeth to Milngavie, 5 miles then Paisley Road West to their finish at Ibrox Park.

Ahead of the trek Scott commented: “My life changed in 2003 when I was partnered with my guide dog Travis – he has given me life changing freedom and independence and so I wanted to give something back. Four walks, £60,000, and nine guide dog puppies later I am as eager as ever to continue raising money for Guide Dogs!”
