Objectives of the Buddy Dogs pilot

Buddy Dogs will benefit both the blind and partially sighted community and Guide Dogs as an organisation.

3. prepare them for future guide dog ownership
4. develop the necessary skills which may prove beneficial for future guide dog ownership

1. better prepare and assess people for guide dog ownership
2. make use of the skills and training of some dogs that have failed to qualify
3. help people through the stages of the mobility journey
4. utilise Guide Dogs resources more effectively
