How you can help the Talking Buses campaign

We want to focus our efforts on the person who can actually make the change happen - the Minister for Buses, Norman Baker MP.

Before he became Minister for Buses, Mr Baker was a big supporter of the Talking Buses campaign. Mr Baker, although he sees the benefits they offer, announced that he does not intend to use his powers to legislate to make audio visual systems on buses mandatory. One of the main reasons he gave was the cost of introducing the systems. We strongly disagree with him. We know that audio visual systems cost as little as 1% of the cost of a new bus.
