Side of London bus in motion
One of the things that causes me great stress when travelling alone on a bus with my guide dog Sorrel, is the not knowing when my stop is approaching. I can ask the driver or other passengers, but they don't always remember to tell me in time. A bus that told me where I am and the next stop, plus the final destination, really would reduce the stress of travelling without sight.- Guide Dogs Transport Policy Officer John Welsman, a totally blind guide dog owner, Guildford
Superb idea, being a bus driver - I fully agree with it!- Simon Langley, bus and coach driver, Rugby
Whilst I lived in California, talking buses are just the norm and it worked fantastically.- Marie Howarth, Greater Manchester
