Our Service to you

- Our dedicated team at Guide Dogs work in partnership with supporters who give £1,000 or more.
- Our aim is to achieve the balance in understanding your motivations and needs and help you understand our needs and how the two can fit together.
- We realise that all of our donors are individuals with individual needs. We strive to offer a bespoke service based on what is best for you.
- Where possible, your relationship with Guide Dogs will always be through the same person. They will be on hand to answer your queries and ensure that your experience as a Guide Dogs major donor is a rewarding and exciting one.
- Many donors are happy to contribute to our running costs. These gifts are vital if we are to continue to run our core services for blind and partially sighted people.
- Other donors prefer to work closely with us building a personal link with a specific pilot or project. They enjoy meeting the people involved and seeing firsthand the effect their donations have on the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
- We always keep you updated on the impact your support is having.
- We also have an event programme and will invite you to those events we think may be of interest to you. This will give you the opportunity to meet with our service staff to better understand Guide Dogs and the work we do as we grow to help more people.
- We are always happy to meet with you at home, at work, or at one of our mobility team offices local to you, to discuss your interest in Guide Dogs and look at the options for developing a long term and mutually rewarding relationship.
- We appreciate that some donors prefer less contact than others. We will always respect your wishes and tailor our contact to to suit you.
