Week 13 - Quella goes on her first walks

Quella has been for her 12 weeks vaccination this week, where she was also weighed, as she also needs worming at 12 weeks of age, and I need to know her weight to administer the correct amount of worming tablets. She now weighs 9.35k.
Quella can now go for local lead walks on hard ground, although she cannot go on soft ground yet, until the vaccine has settled in and taken effect.
I can see her growing at a fast pace, as she loves to run underneath Maya, and I can see the gap closing, she will not be able to get under Maya for much longer. It is funny to watch them sometimes, when they are having a drink, Quella stands underneath Maya, and they share a drink like that, but as soon as I reach for the camera, they move and then I have lost the moment.
I have still been working on the 'down' with Quella, as I now want her to stay in the down position for a little longer, I do this by giving her another treat if she remains down, this is something she will need to do for her Kennel Club Bronze Award, when the time comes.
She is walking quite nicely on the lead, except when it is windy, and then she loves to chase the leaves, although she can only go for short walks at the moment. Guide Dogs guide lines are from 12 - 16 weeks of age 2 x 20 minute walks.
Quella and Maya are getting on brilliantly together, Maya can often be seen, with her paws wrapped around Quella, and washing her face and licking in her ears, which tells me she would have made a wonderful mum.
This week I have started doing some recall with Quella, where I ask her to sit, then I take several paces away from her telling her to wait, I then call her to me and ask her to sit in front of me, when she does this she earns a treat, as this is something that we do at puppy classes, and she will be attending her first class next week.
