Volunteer Customer Service Mentors
Help mentor our support services team giving them advice and techniques so we will be able to continue supplying leading edge customer care to all those involved in raising money and support for Guide Dogs.

Volunteer Admin Support
Working alongside and /or with other departmental staff and volunteers you could be asked to undertake a range of general office duties such as data entry, filing, typing, telephone work post sorting etc. There may also be the opportunity to attend some fundraising events.

Volunteer Branch Chair
To be the main point of contact for people who want to raise money in your specific Branch area, working in conjunction with the Local Guide Dogs Fundraising Co-ordinator ensuring that the Branch operates within the Policies and Procedures of the Association.
You would also be partly responsible for Branch Members who are linked to the Branch.

Volunteer Branch Secretary
To undertake the administrative duties of the Branch and, along with other members of the Branch hierarchy be partly responsible for Branch Members.

Volunteer Centre Guide Dogs
This role will receive individuals and parties of visitors to the Guide Dogs Centre, serving refreshments and showing the visitors the working life of the Centre.
They will liaise with the departments at the Centre to ensure that the information given to visitors will be correct and up to date.

Volunteer Reception Support
This is a key, customer facing role for Guide Dogs and you would be expected to welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner, passing details of visitors to the various departments.
An efficient telephone manner is also an essential skill we would look for.
While in our reception area various admin duties would also be undertaken.

Volunteer Treasurer
Working along side the Branch Chair and Branch Secretary this is a key role in maintaining the success of the Branch network.
You would responsible for all monies raised at Branch activities and collection boxes being banked and that all records are correct an up to date.
Close working with our Head office and Local Fundraising staff will ensure that you will have all the information required for this role.
