Guide Dogs funds much of the UK’s medical research into causes of blindness. We hope that our findings will eventually lead to new treatments for common eye diseases in both adults and children.

We also help to educate people about what they can do to protect their sight. From advice on spotting symptoms to the importance of a regular eye test, we give people information that could help prevent future sight loss.

Guide Dogs receives no government funding. We rely on your donations to fund important research and education programmes.
