Identifying and placing collecting boxes in suitable locations. Talking to the shop owner, receptionist etc. at the location about how the boxes will help Guide Dogs and what we do. Empting boxes every 3-6 months (as they get full) and banking the income through the paying in book provided. Give a receipt and letter of thanks to the hosts. Minimum age: 18

Ensuring that all monies raised or received by your group are paid into the Guide Dogs bank account as soon as possible in line with Guide Dogs policy and ensure that receipts and thank you letters are issued. Please read full role description prior to application. You will provide a puppy with a vital foundation for its future role as a guide dog for someone living with a vision impairment. Please note that the puppy cannot be left alone longer than 3 hours in any 24 hour period. The commitment of this volunteer role will be between 12-16 months. Minimum age: 18
