iOS accessibility features
If you, or someone you know, has a vision impairment and uses an iPhone, there are a number of accessibility shortcuts available on the device that will help to quickly activate various features such as VoiceOver and Zoom.
Guide Dogs has put together a series of 12 videos to help you access some of these features. These videos are split into two sections, part one and part two, each containing six videos to scroll through.
If this is your first visit to this page, we would recommend starting with the first video “Turning VoiceOver on and off” as this is used as the basis for all the other features. You may also want a family member or friend to help you with this initial set up. The narrator will take you through each feature in turn and you can return to any video at any point.
