There is a range of regulation, both at national and European level, which is designed to support you with travel with your guide or assistance dog using domestic and international modes of transport. This is the Act which replaces the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 in England Scotland and Wales, which protects the rights of people with protected characteristics including disabled people, (except in some elements of domestic maritime travel).

Regulation (EU) no 576/2013 on the non-commercial movement of pet animals.

This is the European regulation which underpins the Pets Travel Scheme (PETS), which in turn, lays out the processes and procedures a dog owner has to undertake to travel, outside of a country like the UK, with their dog.
