We record updates every three months for current and future guide dog owners. These are called Guide Dogs Life and have evolved from our Guide Dogs Live webinars.

Each one features guest speakers from across the organisation, who discuss topical issues, answer your questions and share more about what’s happening in the world of Guide Dogs.

December’s Guide Dogs Life update includes an update on the guide dog service from Victoria Dodd, Director of the Guide Dog Service. We also meet Tara Chattaway and Cathy Low from Thomas Pocklington Trust, who discuss how we're working together to provide an education support service, plus hear more about volunteering for Guide Dogs.

October 2025

In this edition of Guide Dogs Life we talk about guide dog waiting times and what we’ve been doing this year to find suitable dogs for those people who’ve been waiting the longest. This includes our research around whether people with no vision wait longer for a guide dog.

June 2025

This edition focuses on travelling with a guide dog. Whether you’re going on holiday, travelling for work or visiting friends and family, we discuss some of the considerations when planning a trip.
