What is Kallidus?

Kallidus is a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows us to deliver accessible and supportive online learning. This is the same system that we use to deliver and manage learning for our staff, so we know it works very well.

It will provide you with learning and guidance materials relevant to your role and once you are allocated an account and you have set up your log in details, you will be able to access the website at any time.

For further support once you have logged in, there is a course titled 'A volunteers guide to Kallidus' which is available from the All courses area under the catalogue titled 'Volunteer information' (you can type the course title into the search bar within Kallidus to find it). This gives you a brief overview of the different areas within Kallidus and how to use them.

Kallidus support videos

The videos below will support you with logging in and using Kallidus. Select the heading to view the relevant video.

You may find it useful to follow a video and pause after each section so you can action each step before moving onto the next one. A notepad and pen might come in handy too!

Anyone who uses a screen reader can be Kallidus trained one to one by the Accessibility Team trainers. If you are interested, please request the training by emailing ISKnowledgeManagement@guidedogs.org.uk.
