Data protection training
Keeping the information and data of our supporters, service users and volunteers safe is a high priority for everyone at Guide Dogs. To support volunteers with this we have different levels of data protection guidance and training in place.
All volunteers in any role should read our Data Protection Essential Guidance, but if your role involves processing data regularly, you’ll be asked to complete our ‘Data Protection and Information Security’ training which must be refreshed on an annual basis.
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions, for more information including the list of volunteer roles that need to complete this training.
There are several options available to you to complete data protection training and we are here to support you with it.
