Volunteer clothing

As a Guide Dogs volunteer, you are entitled to order branded clothing if you wish to wear this within your role.

We also offer a free Guide Dogs-branded polo shirt to all volunteers, as outlined in your welcome email. All new clothing features our refreshed brand and colour palette and is exclusively reserved for registered volunteers and staff. The specifically designed range offers excellent quality and fit and has a wide range of items available (including t-shirts, polo shirts and lightweight waterproof jackets).

How to order clothing

To order your free polo shirt

New volunteers can now order t-shirts directly via our Guide Dogs t-shirt ordering phoneline by calling 0333 220 5413. Call the number to hear an automated message confirming you’ve reached the right place, before being transferred to our contact team who will take your details. They will also need your unique code, which is located within your ‘Welcome’ email. Please note this code will change periodically, so check your welcome email, or please call our Volunteering Office on 0345 143 0191 if you’ve misplaced it.

To purchase all other branded items

To register your account, start by going to www.arco.co.uk

From there:

  • Click My Account Register/Sign in in the top right.
  • Enter your email address and select Continue.
  • On the next page, when prompted, select ‘Yes, I do have an account number’ and enter the Guide Dogs’ account number which is 2498113.
  • The next page will prompt you to enter the postcode associated with the account number, please enter our Head Office postcode which is RG7 3YG.
  • The next page is where you can enter your personal details. Please note, this page has a box labelled ‘Job Title’; enter your volunteering number here so we can link your account to your volunteering record. Your volunteering number can be found on your volunteering ID badge, or alternatively you can contact the Volunteering Office and they can provide you with this. Details for the Volunteering Office are 0345 143 0191 or volunteer@guidedogs.org.uk.
  • The next page prompts you to create and confirm your individual password.

After completing the above steps, you will receive a verification email from Arco. Please verify your account with them but note you will need to wait to order clothing until you receive a second email from our Volunteering Office to confirm you are fully verified and connected to our purchase lists on Arco’s website.

Once registered, to make an order for any other items, start by going to www.arco.co.uk

From there:

  • Click My Account Register/Sign in in the top right.
  • Enter your login details – if you don’t have an account, please contact the Volunteering Office (volunteer@guidedogs.org.uk or 0345 143 0191 to get one set up.
  • Once you have logged in you will be returned to the homepage –click My Account again to be taken to the Account Overview page.
  • You will see a box containing ‘Purchase Lists’; click view. This will open a new page showing ‘Purchase Lists’ at the top.
  • From here you will see ‘Clothing - Volunteers’ and three vertical dots; click the dots and choose view. This should show you all the clothing available to purchase.

If you have an account but can’t see any Purchase Lists or clothing on the page, please let Arco know via the live chat form on their website.
