Charity of the year

Guide Dogs is a positive life-transforming charity. We help people with sight loss live life to the full. By working with us through a charity of the year partnership, you'll have a fun experience while making a huge impact in your local community. We'll provide you with a dedicated account manager and exciting opportunities to get involved with our local and national fundraising campaigns, no matter where you are based. You'll create a lasting legacy to be proud of.

Inspire your team to get involved

Being a well-known charity with our much-loved iconic dogs, we can help you create a programme of exciting fundraising events and team-building opportunities that people can really get behind. Your team will help us make a real difference in the lives of adults, young people and children that need our support.

Regardless of the size of your organisation, there are numerous ways that you can choose to get involved. Here are just a few:

Our Charity of the Year support of Guide Dogs is due to our own family experience with our son Sonny, who is registered with a severe vision impairment. We realise the values and services that Guide Dogs provide and we have made a commitment to continually raise funds and awareness for Guide Dogs. Fundraising has been very much a team effort and we have held a range of fundraising activities. We initially raised £5,000, taking part in Name a Puppy and naming puppy Hilda in honour of my late grandmother. We enjoyed the experience so much we have since named a second puppy Brian in memory of my father-in-law, and are currently aiming to name a third puppy!
