Ever wondered how dogs become Guide Dogs?
Join us for a ‘behind-the-scenes’ experience of the UK’s only Breeding Centre for Guide Dogs - an unmissable opportunity to explore the fascinating journey of a guide dog from the very beginning - before they are even born. You may even get to see some of our gorgeous puppies as they eat, play, and snooze - though this is subject to mother nature and puppy availability.
During the experience, you'll be placed into small groups and guided around the state-of-the-art facility by our knowledgeable team of volunteers who will be able to share with you the secrets of our life-changing dogs. You’ll also discover fascinating information about our important work helping people with sight loss to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
The tour will last approximately two hours and will include:
Please note, we do not train our guide dogs on-site at the National Centre, so it is very unlikely that you will see dogs being trained during your visit.

You’ll also discover fascinating information about the important work of the charity, which enables people who are visually impaired to lead independent and fulfilling lives.
