Puppy walking is a crucial volunteer role which prepares guide dog puppies for their working life ahead by familiarising them with different environments including the home, towns and public transport.

STV has launched a brand new search for Scotland's most deserving local heroes in the second series of RBS - Finding Scotland's Real Heroes, presented by Carol Smillie.

This year's campaign will feature a brand new categories for nominations - Hero Animal of the year.  We are sure there are a few of our guide dogs out there who deserve a mention in this category.
