How to organise your golf charity fundraiser
Here’s how you can start making a difference and get the ball rolling.
Here’s how you can start making a difference and get the ball rolling.
Whether you're a seasoned golfer, a weekend player, or just here for the fun, get ready for a round that’s about much more than the scorecard. By hosting a golf fundraiser for Guide Dogs, you're doing more than playing a game – you're helping transform lives.

Why not choose us as your charity partner! Working with Guide Dogs is more than charity - it’s a strategic way to deliver real social impact, align with your company values, and engage employees and customers meaningfully. Get in touch to find out more.
It’s time to gather your crew - whether they’re golf pros or just here for the snacks! Every swing (and every missed shot) helps raise funds for Guide Dogs. No team? No problem! Your golf fundraiser can be as simple as a round with friends, or even a solo game. It all counts.
Pick a date and location that works for your players, whether it's a full 18-hole course or a relaxed 9-hole afternoon. Once the basics are in place, you’re ready to start building a golf day that’s full of fun and purpose.
Don’t keep your golf day under wraps. Get the word out early and loud! Send invites, share on socials, and get those RSVPs rolling in. Once you're in the swing of things, start selling tickets and set an entry fee to build the buzz.
As your golf fundraiser wraps up, give a big shout-out to everyone who chipped in to make it a success. Share the total raised, highlight the difference it will make for Guide Dogs and thank everyone who got involved.

Sight loss doesn’t wait, and neither do we. We need your help – right now, today. Please register to fundraise with Guide Dogs and support our life-changing work.
My friends and I have taken on the 72-hole longest day golf challenge for several years now, each time raising funds for charities that are close to our hearts. In 2023, my wife and I began fostering guide dogs so it only felt right to dedicate our fundraising day to Guide Dogs themselves. Our guide dog in training, Boston, made a star appearance in our photos and really helped boost donations too!
