Guide Dogs volunteers were invited to Vodafone head office to meet with staff and talk about our life-changing work.
Inspiring staff to choose Guide Dogs as their charity partner
Vodafone invited some of our local volunteers from our West Berkshire Fundraising Group along to their headquarters in Newbury. During their lunchtime event, our volunteers chatted to staff about Guide Dogs, our services and the work we do in the local community, as well as their volunteer roles. The Vodafone staff also had the opportunity to meet a working guide dog and some puppies in training.
The feedback from the Vodafone staff was amazing. One employee said it was one of the best and most uplifting days at work they ever had. As a result of the successful event, Vodafone's Future Talent Charity Committee was inspired to choose Guide Dogs as their next charity partner.
