Coffi Lab supports Guide Dogs through open day donations and biscuit sales
Coffi Lab, a dog-friendly coffee shop business, chose to support Guide Dogs and is fundraising in a variety of ways, including through the sale of their dog biscuits.
A popular and simple way to support Guide Dogs
Coffi Lab, which has shops in Wales and the South West, has been supporting Guide Dogs in a variety of ways. They have been kindly donating all proceeds from their open days, as well as getting involved in our key fundraising campaigns. Coffi Lab has also been supporting Guide Dogs through the sale of dog biscuits, donating 50p from every dog biscuit they sell in-store.
Owner of Coffi Lab, James Shapland comments, "Supporting the local community is very important to us at Coffi Lab and we're delighted to be able to give back and make a difference to people affected by sight loss. We decided to choose Guide Dogs as our charity partner because we understand the difference that these wonderful creatures can make to people's lives, especially those with sight loss. Growing up, it was a cause my parents supported. I would always put some of my pocket money in the yellow collection dogs whenever we went shopping. Our range of dog biscuits, where we donate 50% of sales to Guide Dogs, has been particularly popular with customers and a simple way for us to provide regular support to Guide Dogs."
The partnership has raised over £15,000 after just one year and the incredible team has named four future life-changing puppies through our Name a Puppy scheme, with staff choosing names in loving memory of friends and family.
Our staff and customers have been really engaged with our fundraising and we've loved coming together to name guide dog puppies. We've also enjoyed having volunteers visit our open days, providing us with the opportunity to meet some of the people involved, including some local guide dog owners who have benefitted from Guide Dog's life-changing services.
