Partnership Funds for Guide Dogs
Celebrate your special partnership while also supporting Guide Dogs and raising funds to help others.
What is a partnership fund?
It's an online space for you and your family to celebrate the difference your partnership has made and raise funds to help others with sight loss by giving people the chance to donate.
You can use your fund to mark anniversaries, birthdays and other important milestones in your partnership by inviting donations and virtual gifts. You can also connect with a range of fun fundraising events and activities hosted by Guide Dogs throughout the year. As you watch your fund grow, you’ll feel proud knowing you’re making a difference and helping others with sight loss.
All donations received through your fund will come to Guide Dogs to help other people with sight loss through our wide range of services.
Getting started
Partnership Funds are simple and free to set up and manage – it only takes a few minutes and you can add your own photos and personalise your page.
To get started with all the support you need, contact your local Community Fundraising Relationship Manager, and then you can go to our Partnership Fund Just Giving Campaign Page and start your own fundraising page from there.
You can also set up a QR code to promote your partnership fundraising within your community, family and friends. They'll access your fundraising page instantly using the camera on their phone, giving them a quick and easy way to donate. Simply add /qrcode at the end of the fundraising page URL to get it.
What should I name my fundraising page?
For consistency and recognition we recommend a standardised naming of: [First and Last name]’s Partnership Fund.
Fundraising tips and ideas
Here are some fundraising ideas to get your Partnership Fund started:
- Hold or take part in a car boot sale.
- Sell crafts that you’ve made.
- Take part in a sponsored challenge.
- Hold a social event such as tea party or bingo.
- Ask for donations on birthdays or anniversaries.
