Nottingham community team
Our team covers the counties of South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. We have around 300 guide dog owners at any time.
Did you know there are approximately 23,500 registered blind or partially sighted people who live in the South Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas?
In order to live a full life and contribute to a local community, people need to be able to get around on their own. At Guide Dogs we're in the business of making sure that people who are blind or partially sighted do not lose this vital ability.
The Nottingham Community Team is here to help. If we can't help you directly, we'll do what we can to work with other service providers in the area to meet your needs.
So if you think we can help you or someone you know, or you'd like to know more about how you can support our work through volunteering or fundraising, then please get in touch. You can call, write or visit our office using the contact details provided on this page.
We have a network of speakers made up of Guide Dog owners and puppy raisers (formerly called a puppy walker) who love to give talks to groups and organisations. Contact us to find out more.
