Reading Mobility Team
Our team of 34 staff based in Winnersh, Berkshire - together with dedicated volunteers - work to deliver and raise awareness of Guide Dogs’ services and campaigns in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, West Sussex and Surrey to enable blind and partially sighted people to get out and about on their own terms.
Did you know there are approximately 22,000 registered blind and partially sighted people living in the counties mentioned above?
In order to live a full life and contribute to the local community, people need to be able to get around on their own. Every hour another person in the UK loses their sight. Guide Dogs works to make sure that when someone loses their sight, they don’t lose their freedom too.
