Sighted guiding service

Do more of the things you love and explore new opportunities with a fully trained sighted guide. By partnering up with one of our friendly My Sighted Guide volunteers, you can get out and about and enjoy life’s pleasures with someone who shares your interests; it could be a simple walk in the park, a shopping trip, going to a football match or a visit to an art gallery.

Our My Sighted Guide service is temporarily paused to new applications but we are welcoming new volunteers to help partner people currently waiting for the service. We also offer training options for anyone who is interested in learning how to confidently guide a person with sight loss - from introductory training on the basic principles of sighted guiding to how to guide and support a loved one.
